Dembai isn't just art pour l’art — Dembai is art with a message. Great art is always straight from the heart, and however grim, it is filled with hope and new insights. Art goes beyond boundaries, religions and origins. An expression of a new generation's dreams and dreads. A beacon in a troubled world, shining a new way light on matters that are holding humanity down.

motivation purpose and believes
The why
You don’t have to be a genius to a out something has gone terribly wrong with our planet. Mass extinction of plants and animals, extremes in weather through climate crisis, one half of the world is burning, the other half is drowning, structural water and air pollution. All these crises are happening all at the same time and to make mathers worse they will only be intensified by the foreseen overpopulation. And now on top of all this a growing threat of a nuclear World War 3. Will we be able to organise globally and take measures against total catastrophe?
empowering the next generation
The how
It’s no longer just the hippies and the punks that take to the street and protest. The girl next-door, the worried grandparents school kids, even school kids and are now protesting all over the world. Will their outcries be made in vain? Dembai believes in the power of art to make a difference. Art can give a voice were there was no voice. Art can open doors, it can build bridges and empower a new generation fighting for a better tomorrow.
